Cloudflare Setup

We put your Zen Cart store behind Cloudflare and set it up for a store, not a blog: faster pages, protection from bots and card testers, and payments that keep working.

• DNS and SSL: we check every DNS record Cloudflare imports against your current ones so your email keeps working, set SSL to Full (strict), and update your Zen Cart settings to match.
• Real Shopper IPs: Zen Cart records your shoppers' real IP addresses on orders and in fraud checks instead of Cloudflare's, and nobody can fake one.
• Safe Caching: images and scripts are cached; pages, carts and paid downloads never are.
• Security Rules: bot settings, rules that block scanners and guard your admin, and rate limits on checkout and login against card testing, fitted to your Cloudflare plan.
• Payments Keep Working: exceptions for your payment callbacks and webhooks, checked in each provider's delivery log.
• Tested: a full test pass, including checkout, and a summary of every setting we made.

Works on Cloudflare's Free or Pro plan. We finish within 3 business days of receiving access, and we schedule the nameserver switch for your quietest hour.

Before we start: you'll need a Cloudflare account; only you can open it. In the ticket we'll send you the steps to add us as a member of the account. When we're ready, you'll change your nameservers at your domain registrar, and we'll tell you exactly what to enter. We never ask for your Cloudflare or registrar password.

After you order: open a support ticket on myZenCartHost.com with your order number and your store access details (SSH, or cPanel or FTP, and an admin login). Please don't send passwords by ordinary email or put them in your order comments.
