Quick Price Update adds Catalog > Quick Price Update to your admin: find the products you want, type new prices and quantities right in the table, and save every change with one button. Find them by exact product ID or ranges (12, 15, 40-55), by category with or without its subcategories, by name or model and by status, then sort them and show up to 200 a page. Zen Cart’s own search matches IDs loosely, so a search for 12 also finds 112 and 120; this one doesn’t.
Every value is checked before anything is written: 1,234.50 is understood, 12,50 is refused rather than misread, and a row that doesn’t pass comes back highlighted with what you typed. If a product changed somewhere else after your page loaded, that row is skipped and you’re told which, never overwritten. Saving a price refreshes the value Zen Cart sorts by price with, so the storefront’s price sorting and “Starting at” prices stay right, and products on special, priced by attributes, Call for Price or Always Free are flagged. A currency icon on Catalog > Categories/Products, in your default currency’s sign, opens any product or category there.
It’s a new, encapsulated version of the Quick Price Update in the Plugins Library, written from scratch: no core or template file is changed, it adds no tables and no settings, and an admin sees it only if their profile includes it.
Want more? Quick Price Update Pro adds bulk changes by percent or amount with rounding and a preview, specials, status, weight, model and tax class in the table, filters for manufacturer, price, quantity and specials, and a full change history with one-click undo. This plugin stays complete and free on its own.
Zen Cart 1.5.8 through 3.0.0, PHP 7.4 through 8.5, one codebase. GPL-2.0.

Need it tailored to your store? We customize our own plugins, and other developers' plugins and mods too, wherever their license allows it (most Zen Cart plugins are GPL, which does). An extra option, a different placement, a hook into something else you run, an update for a newer Zen Cart or PHP, or a version for your template. Tell us what you have in mind through
