Sell anything your customers buy again and again as a subscription, on the schedule that fits it: coffee every two weeks, that great jerky every two months, balsamic vinegar every quarter, oil filters every six months. You choose the intervals each product offers, from every few days to once a year. On the product page the customer picks One-Time Purchase or one of those intervals, with an optional subscribe-and-save discount, and at checkout they agree to your subscription terms. Until now Zen Cart had no current subscription plugin for any 2.x release.
Renewals work with every payment module. Before each delivery the customer gets an email with a Renew Now link that fills their cart, and they check out as usual at that day's prices and shipping, so nothing is ever charged without them. A renewal not placed in time is skipped and the next one reminded; three in a row pause the subscription. A scheduler run every few hours (a cron job or an outside cron service) sends the reminders.
Customers skip, pause, resume, change the interval or quantities, and cancel from My Subscriptions in their account. You manage every subscription under Customers > Subscriptions: search, filters, the full history with who did what, the consent record with the exact terms each customer agreed to, and actions of your own. Each product gets a Subscription panel (off, optional or required, the intervals offered, the discount, a fixed number of deliveries). The delivery choice is a product option the plugin manages, so no template file is changed, and all five emails show in the free Preview Email plugin.
Want more? Subscriptions Pro adds to this plugin: renewals charged automatically to the card saved at Authorize.Net, and Occasions, a delivery on a date every year, like flowers on a birthday, an anniversary or Valentine's Day, ordered once. This plugin stays complete and free on its own.

Need it tailored to your store? We customize our own plugins, and other developers' plugins and mods too, wherever their license allows it (most Zen Cart plugins are GPL, which does). An extra option, a different placement, a hook into something else you run, an update for a newer Zen Cart or PHP, or a version for your template. Tell us what you have in mind through
