EU Withdrawal Button adds the withdrawal function EU law requires from 19 June 2026: a Withdraw From Contract Here button in the footer of every page, and a withdrawal page that needs no account, with name, order and email, then a review screen with the Confirm Withdrawal button. It follows Article 11a of the Consumer Rights Directive (added by Directive (EU) 2023/2673) for stores selling to consumers in the EU, and needs no template edits.
The moment the customer confirms, they’re emailed an acknowledgment of receipt with their statement and the date and time it was sent, and your store gets a notice with reply-to set to the customer. The acknowledgment confirms receipt, not acceptance; whether a withdrawal is valid is still yours to decide. A logged-in customer picks from their recent orders, and the button on an order’s page opens the form for that order. A guest’s order is matched by number and email, and a statement that doesn’t match is saved and flagged, never refused. A matched order gets a note in its history that the customer doesn’t see, and can move to a status you choose.
Customers > Withdrawals lists every statement with its status, a staff note and a Send Acknowledgment button. A spam trap holds suspicious statements, emailing nobody, until you release them. A store outside the EU can show the button to every visitor or only to customers in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Both emails show in the free Preview Email plugin, and no core or template file is changed.
Languages: English, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The two labels the law fixes are word for word in each; the rest of the text is in English, ready to translate.

Need it tailored to your store? We customize our own plugins, and other developers' plugins and mods too, wherever their license allows it (most Zen Cart plugins are GPL, which does). An extra option, a different placement, a hook into something else you run, an update for a newer Zen Cart or PHP, or a version for your template. Tell us what you have in mind through
