USPS Setup Guide

Step by step, how to get live USPS rates on your Zen Cart store with the USPS RESTful module, the replacement for the old USPS module that stopped working when USPS retired its Web Tools API.

What's Inside:

• What you need before you start, and why the old USPS module stopped working
• Creating your USPS developer credentials
• Installing the module and retiring the old one
• Every setting, what to enter, and why
• Testing your quotes
• Going live and keeping it working when USPS is down
• Troubleshooting the problems people actually run into

Kept Current: providers change their dashboards and requirements from time to time. We check every guide regularly and update it when something changes, and the date at the top of the guide shows when we last checked. Updates are free, for good.

How You Read It: it's an online guide on this site, tied to your account. After checkout we email you the link; sign in with the account you ordered with, and you'll also find it in the Documentation box whenever you're signed in.
